This Would Be Cool To Drive
Much of this vintage Rolls is off the shelf GM parts. Not the engine and interior, but stuff like the power steering, AC, power windows and such. If you had a mechanic who knew GM, you wouldn't have to put Rolls branded GM parts in it, but you could use the same parts with a GM part number. I met a guy at the Mavericks game in Adelanto back in the day and he had a Rolls. He loved it and said it was a great road trip car.
One day I was with the She Devil in Palm Springs and we stopped at the used luxury car dealer. The sales guy showed me a car that fit my price range. I'm all excited, until I get in it and find I'm too tall for it. My Beetle has more head room than that Rolls did. To this day I remain disappointed.
