We talked about going to New Orleans. I told the guys that I'm planning on going with Marie and Big James next year in the RV. I'm thinking three days in NOLA proper, then a month or so out by Avery Island. Big James is part Cajun and wants to look around and stuff.
So, I think on next year's guys trip we're going to skip NOLA. The hotels are really expensive, and the guys went to Montreal and Quebec last year, getting their fix of French culture in. Besides that, Mark went to Paris back in the day, so the French Quarter won't be any big deal to them.
George added that he doesn't want to see any AAA level baseball and that would have been the only other reason to stay there.
